  1. @Colin – I'd love to get some clarity on my bet spread given my bankroll situation. My bankroll is $10,000, $10k being the amount that if I were to lose it all, I'd likely quit playing all together. I'm confident that I can play a close to perfect blackjack game, but want to lock-down my bet sizing.
Going in, until I'm 100% ultra-confident and comfortable, I will be looking to play $5 or $10 minimum bets with a maximum bet of $60. Many of the bet spread suggestions are 1-8, 1-10, 1-12 but I'm also aware that you have your max bet out at a True 6+. Because there are more bet spread increases and less true counts to increase on (with max being at 6+) how do I get to my max bet on a spread of 1-8?

Would it make sense to go something like:
    TC 0 – 1 = $5/$10 (depending on table minimum)

    TC 2 = $10/$20
    TC 3 = $20/$30
    TC 4 = $30/$40
    TC 5 = $40/$50
    TC 6 = $60/$60

This is kind of what I was thinking. Covers both common table minimums without exceeding a max bet of $60.

All of this in mind, what do you think? Would love some feedback on this.

  2. What kind of spread do you need to beat a game using a play-all strategy where you don’t Wong out in negative counts? Typical 6-deck game on Vegas strip.

  3. I met one fool at the tables who claimed to be a counter but his basic strategy was NOT perfect and he frequently played the side bets. Also, the guy was horrendous in betting properly based on the count.

  4. Did you know Nevada supreme Court says card counting not cheating and not illegal ? Say on YouTube video. Guy was kicked out won I court. Have you been to court for card counting ?

  5. If you're a degenerate gambler you can blast off at +2 for 1/3 of your roll on a couple bets

  6. I’ve done one hand of $5 to three hands of $100 before. It’s fun watching the staff reactions when you start stacking black chips at a $5 table.

  7. At a true count of 1, the only system you should raise your bet is wong halves.

  8. So Mike aponte said he bets by taking the true count minus 1 betting unit.will that still work?

  9. A person would need atleast 10 grand to start counting cards, even at 10 grand your risk of ruin would be high
