Not much you could’ve done differently. And for the ‘experts’ on YouTube who say add an extra hand – every time you did that, dealer had Blackjack. Sorry! We know the pain of losing at the El Cortez and the way the cards ran here.

I hit the three of a kind playing Blackjack the other day it pays $150 then I went and played poker.
Tough beat. Don’t bet yourself up over staying in 16, my rule is that if I lose 3 hands in a row I add a 2nd hand. If you would have done that, you would had Blackjack on one hand and loss the 2nd – it the cards would have changed and who knows what would have happened. I believe you added a 2nd hand after the 4th loss. It’s gambling, you win some and lose some, continue to have fun and stick the strategy that works best for you.
