My Favorite Strategy with Live Craps Dealer Part 1

Blackjack Tips Information & Video Source:

This is my favorite strategy played with a live craps dealer. In this video I get to play this strategy with its creator, John Boender of learntoplaycraps youtube channel. In a previous video I explain why this is my favorite strategy. You can see why here.

Goal is to start with minimum investment, and as you win, place across all the numbers. After all the numbers are placed, you collect on the first hits to recoup your initial investment, second hit you full press the winnings. At this point you are in a great position if a long roll happens.

  1. "It's the House's money." Whatever mind game floats your boat, gambler .
Life is one long crap game. It doesn't matter where a chip was 5 minutes ago. If it's in the tray in front of you, it's your money .
"House's money," my a$$. Gee, I was up $10K. Then I lost it all. But that's OK. It was… the "House's money!!!" That is a gambler's mindset and not the mindset of an advantage player.
But hey, gamblers keep the lights on so bless them and more power to them! May they keep thinking it's the "House's money."

  2. Great video! Can't wait to run this through the simulator.
One question though, do you continue to press the pass line bet after you hit $100? Do you continue to press it by quarters? Or by 50? Or by 100?

  3. I don't see the advantage to pressing the Pass Line bet as opposed to a basic Pass Line bet and taking odds. The basic Pass Line bet wouldn't need the "Any Craps" hedge that is used with the pressed Pass Line bet, and taking odds always gives better than even money.

  4. It’s a fun strategy but it seems a little too aggressive for a low roller. Unless you get a red hot roller your $200 is gonna get wiped out almost every time. In this session, if you only bet $20 on the pass and nothing else, you would be UP $80.

  5. With all those seven come outs, what I usually do is throw a nickel red. When it hits you get paid $20, ask the dealer to make your red look like a quarter. When it hits again you’ll get paid $100.

It’s the easiest way to make $100 on the table.

  6. John adds energy to the game, like a good dealer should. Maximizing the pass line bet with insurance is one way to go that is contrary to maximizing the odds bet. Too bad your dice were cold.

  7. This is a hedging system. There is no such thing as houses money. It’s all YOUR money.

  8. So I've been playing this strategy for the last 2 days online, and it's treating me pretty well. I'm pretty sure the next time we hit it to Black Hawk I'm going to try it for real. Thanks for this!! Lots of action with a fairly small investment. As long as your bank roll lets you hang in through a few short rolls, you sure can make up for it quickly. When is your next live session from Saratoga casino? I'd love to be able to make it up there.
