Sharpening The BlackJack Knives Trail Guide With The KME Sharpener.

Blackjack Tips Information & Video Source:

You asked for Sharpening vids so here we go, starting with the BlackJack Trail guide. We put a KME V style secondary bevel. Some would have convexed it, but the bevel was so small, I decided to go with a standard V.

  1. Great video I have this system never seen a vise being used that's the one thing I didn't care for was the system being stable on that wood and pen thank you

  2. Nice sharpener and knife. Some green verdigris on that finger guard, probably from the sheath.

  3. Thanks, very informative video. I've only heard good things about the KME. I'm really sold on it now.

  4. Damn, Zel. That's about the best and most informative knife sharpening video I've ever seen. Thanks!

  5. Any suggestions on grinding out serrations on a fully- or partially-serrated blade?

  6. I got a small Blackjack Longbeard. It's a commemorative NWTF sponsor addition from 1997. It has a convex blade and it's amazing. The edge doesn't even have a bevel but it shaves hairs clean off.

  7. There is no secondary bevel on knives made by Mike Stewart, they convex them all the way to the edge sharp .
