Craps Strategy by the Numbers!

Craps strategy by the numbers… Can you use some basic math to give you a clue how to bet in this game? One of the most common measurements in the game of craps is your sevens to rolls ratio. Basically, it’s just the average number of rolls between 7s. So if you know your SRR, you should be able to make money, right? I mean all you have to do is pull your bets down before you hit your average, right??? Can it be that easy?

In this video I take a conservative approach to the math. I’ve recorded rolls over the past month or so and have determined my SRR is 7.1. I also know I have some volatility in my rolls. Maybe this hand I’ll go 9, but the next I PSO… So what can I do with this information?

I decided to try an SRR-2 test. My SRR is 7, so I subtract 2 and pull down my bets to the table minimums. Can I make money with this approach? Let’s find out!

Bone Tracker spreadsheet can be downloaded for free from the Axis Power Craps website, but it does require Microsoft Excel. Download the spreadsheet here:

  1. Just love your style, Dave!! Thanks for another great video! Halfway through and watching to the end!

  2. Fun video. Does an SRR of 7 imply that you're random rolling though? If so, then this is a strategy video and not a bad one at that.

  3. Nice throwing Dave. I never thought about my stance too much. For some reason I tend to put most of my weight on my left foot and lift my right a little. Might have to work on that. BTW… I'm still waiting for your wife to buy me a GoPro…LMAO!!!!!!

  4. Great audio and picture. Nice thought on Using your SRR as a guide to betting. πŸŽ²πŸ‘

  5. Great video Bro! Love the strategy tired with the SRR. The camera angle and the instant replay are phenomenal! Way to goπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ

  6. Why not play your pass line bet each point made double it and take full odds ? It’s the best bet on the table
