Jeff: I’m Jeff Civillico headliner at the LINQ Hotel and Casino and today we’re playing some craps. You guys ready!?

Alright now craps can be complicated, yes, however, Roger is here he’s gonna take us through all of the basics.

Roger give us craps 101.

Roger: Well, first we’re gonna start with the pass line, come out roll.
We’re gonna try to throw a 7, 11 and win… to 2, 3, 12 lose.

So, we’re going for 7 or 11 five dice coming this way I get I get two, pick up two.
Remember to hit the back wall.

Now pick up your winning bets, or let it ride, stack it up. It’s called “Stack it or Rack it”.

Jeff: I’m stacking it, not racking it.

Roger: Now you need to roll a 7 or 11.
So, now 4 is the point. So, the goal is now to hit the point we need to make the four before we throw the bad number.

Jeff: So, 7s now are bad?

Roger: Correct, no more 7s now, Jeff. 7s are bad.

Roger: So, you can now take odds behind your original pass line bet, that’s the best bet in Las Vegas, true odds.
You’ll get paid six dollars for every $5 you bet.

Jeff: Do I have to match the amount, or no?

Roger: No.

Roger: Now you can place a bet on any number you might have a particular number you like. They pay different odds depending on what number it is.

Jeff: What is a 10? I’m feeling 10…

Roger: 10 will pay nine to five. When you want to place better number, you put the money in front of you and tell the dealer. This part of the game is mine and that part of game is yours.

Jeff: So, tell us about the field… what’s that all about?

Roger: If you want to play the field, it’s a one roll bet, you get all of the numbers in the field 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Jeff: I’m playing the field…

Roger: …any of those numbers come in, the field wins!

Jeff: Alright the point is a four?

Roger: You need a 4 to win.

Jeff: Come on baby!

Roger: Yeah! So, we are winners in the field on the 10.

Jeff: Easy 10 just means that the dice add up to 10 without being 5, right? So, five so hard 10?

Roger: That’s right. That 10 came 6 and 4.

Jeff: I’m gonna throw another chip myself because this is self serve.

Roger: We’re coming out so pick up on your odds.

Jeff: Come on baby.

If the line loses but the field wins I bet big on the field.

Jeff: Roger, if I’m just coming up to a craps table I want to get involved what bets do you think are the easiest to manage?

Roger: Well, if a person walks up to the table in the middle of a roll, a lot of times they’ll make a come bet because they don’t have a pass line bet and then they’ll start and jump right into the game that way.

It’s perfectly alright.

Jeff: I’m gonna throw come bet down.

Roger: Alright, so place your come bet in front of you, and now we’re gonna throw the dice there.

We throw the dice, and it’s gonna be the same as a pass line 7, 11 win… 2, 3, 12 lose or your money is going to come into the box on the number you roll.

Jeff: Alright that’s really all there is to it folks! That is craps 101! hope you’ve enjoyed watching!
I know it can be a little intimidating but don’t worry, our dealers are here to help at any Caesars Entertainment property, so come on down and get in on the fun

  2. The point is 4 why would the odds pay $6 for every $5 shouldn't it be 2 to 1on 4 and 10
