  1. Once you regressed and then started pressing maybe after the 10th shot (if you made it that far) maybe just come down to table minimum or just do a simple 160 across and leave it, that way you have big profit and enough profit to cover your next come out.. you had a nice amount on the table when that 7 came

  2. Thanks for showing how bad these plays really are.

I used to think an initial steep regression was a great way to play but it just packs all your risk into the pre-regression rolls. Play it enough and 1 in 6 of those comeout rolls will burn you. The profits on the post regression play just like any across strategy still require 4+ hits to be ahead if you are lucky enough to get repeaters, but often don't break even before a seven let alone make enough to cover the initial come-out losses.

As you showed even with an awesome roll you were practically back to zero with a 7 on the next shooter and wiped out after that. Using a second regression would have reclaimed some of those pressed up winnings but even so a couple of come out losses and it's home time

Basically it's a high risk losing strategy unless there are long rolls … and by definition you're better to start small with say an OHCM type play and build up and out and make sure you survive long enough at the table to see a long roll.
