  1. I like the strategy and have played it for years.
Once I get three points with odds if none of them hit in three rolls I turn them off for two rules… then turn them back on.
Great job really enjoy your videos thanks for making them

  2. Just so you know, at 6:36 you sevened out but paid yourself $40 on your passline odds bet rather than losing $20.

  3. Hey guys at 6:36 on that point 10 I lost but I paid the line odds, so it should be 40$ less on the final total. Thanks for catching that Ken. Its a pretty big mistake so I wanted to say something about it.

  4. You could always play the place bets you want to play. Do the do-ey don't and switch out the place bets you hit as odds. If you don't hit a number you like then don't add odds.

  5. I hope you don't think I'm one of those odds guys who rags on you. Everyone should play their own way. I just think they should learn the odds and payouts first so they can make informed decisions.

  6. I have to remind you that 1. I’m part of Craps Nation , 2. I told you this strategy a long time ago, & 3. I can prove this strategy was mine because Color Up did a dice advice video on it apx 1year ago called “Free Odds bet with No House Edge”. Season one episode three
    His thumbnail says Zero Edge.

  7. I clearly made a bunch of mistakes in this video, not my best but the idea is there. It's a very simple approach to the game, and it is effective. In my opinion this way of playing will very rarely turn a huge profit, but it will profit enough times to make it legitimate. This is a very old way to play, it's been around for ever. It's like the Iron Cross, or the 3 point molly, mostly a base model for craps.

  8. I have an interesting variation on this below but otherwise I have ever been a big fan of doey-don't strategies as shown here as it gives up the come out advantage of the pass line and because its not really free odds despite what some may claim.

The 12 push and losing the come out advantage is what yields the house edge with this system… it is basically the house edge of the dont pass (1.364%) plus the house edge of the pass (1.41%) divided by two (1.389%). Said another way you lose half the wager every 36 rolls which is 0.5/36 = 1/72 (1.389%) plus also adding a 12 craps hedge to give them even more.

I'm not saying it is terrible odds compared to many other prop bets but I am not convinced it is worth forgoing the come out advantage (8 ways to win vs 4 to lose) by hedging with a don't and a 12 craps check.

The one advantage a variation on this strategy has and which could help reduce some come out variance (if desired) is if you want to play more free odds on a table that only allows 2 times odds (as is the case where I live). You could say play a differential using a $30 don't and a $20 pass to allow up to 4x odds of $40 on the passline at a 2x odds table with an EFFECTIVE $10 passline wager. Played this way you can make the allowable odds on a craps table anything you want and still preserve the come out advantage and THAT can be advantageous.
