My Favorite Strategy with Live Craps Dealer Part 2

Craps Strategy Video Information:

This is my favorite strategy played with a live craps dealer. In Part 2 of this video I get to play this strategy with its creator, John Boender of learntoplaycraps youtube channel. In a previous video I explain why this is my favorite strategy. You can see why here.

Goal is to start with minimum investment, and as you win, place across all the numbers. After all the numbers are placed, you collect on the first hits to recoup your initial investment, second hit you full press the winnings. At this point you are in a great position if a long roll happens.

  1. I see y’all pressing the pass line every time you win on it. When do you collect on it? Why not use winnings for odds instead?

  2. You guys have some good chemistry there. I've been missing John since he hasn't done anything with his channel in quite a few years now. Maybe you both could benefit by doing some collaboration or something? Or, hell, just start a new channel together. Couldn't hurt…

  3. Jeremy, can't wait until you make a vid talking to the dice like this guy!

  4. Great video. I don’t understand pressing the pass line instead of playing odds? Is a $5 pass with $10 odds not always better than a $15 pass line?

  5. I'm def a "minimize my losses" type of player, so I did this great strat with 20 'shooters' on Wizard of Odds, with a slight change. Once I won a $100 PL bet i racked the whole thing (assuming I'm not shooting), and once I hit a place bet on the second press i took it down. I was never down more than $70 from the buy in, and finished up with ~$450 with only two substantial rolls(one did come early), and half the time (10 shooters) getting on all the numbers and Sevening out before any profit was made. Maybe this would help those asking about exit strategies.

  6. At 4:53 Why would the dealer say “Winner!” When the point hits? There was a $5 flat bet on the PassLine. Which only makes $5. All other place bets make more. I would rather keep hitting place bets.

I feel it’s phycological. To make players think that hitting the point is the best thing on the table. Misleading. It was the worst paying bet on this table.

  7. Simply brilliant !

I am off to Vegas next week staying centre strip where I hear it’s $15 days and $25 nights in the casinos. Would this same strategy work with those multiples ? I’m guessing it would but just a bigger initial risk.
