placing only 6 & 8 is worth while in my view. placing across is not prudent and is something i see all the time. great vid, btw!!
i saw a player throw a pair of purple ($500 each) checks and holler, "placing $498, 6 & 8", dealer calmly positioned $4 behind the pass line area near the player as change. payoff is $581, btw…! shooter 7-out!!!!!
for some reason now, i rarely see big place bets. in the old days it was not uncommon to see a player placing $120, 180, 360 on 6 & 8. once in a while ill see $48 & $60, but not too often.

On a 6 and 8 place bet. What if you put just 10 on 6 and 8. How much would the dealer pay you since it’s not a multiple of 6 and 8. The reason I’m asking is because I’ve seen people do that
