You would only get away with this after 1 roll, maybe 2. The stickman usually flips the dice around with the end of his stick before passing them to the shooter. The boxman and stickman would notice right away that there were no 2's, 3's etc.

If you have the balls, and a good team of turns, this could definitely work. The odds of not hitting your field bets are only 1 out of 16. In a craps scam, usually the dealers are in on it. With a professional mechanic, the use of subs or a web, and turns this is more that plausible. A double five, or a double deuce would probably go for a while unnoticed.

They check dice after every other win. You got a beating and jail time coming trying this.

House procedure says for the stick to flip the dice after every roll, not to mention we check the dice after tapping in, the dice all have to have the same dice number.
