  1. Jonathan Jaffe on River Over-Betting Part 1. I hope you enjoy this! For more Poker Coaching from Jonathan Jaffe: https://pages.pokercoaching.com/jaffe-pc

  2. If youre so good at poker, why dont you grind mid/high stakes cash games for a living and show us your resume? Anybody can copy paste the information youre throwing out. Highly suspicious.

  3. I really learned a lot from your GPL matches as a hu sng guy myself. Thanks for teaching me! Run good. Glad to see you with Pokercoaching

  4. I am maybe a near break even 1/2 player. I have noticed that I often get better as the session continues normally because I learn the tendencies of the other players. I know a large percentage of the time when the nit player will fold to a large bet, when a given nit has a large pre-flop hand and is calling to the river no matter what, and when a calling station is calling a $30 bet to see the flop with anything.
I often get paid later by showing a quick $50+ river bluff early intentionally then doing the same most with the near nuts later. I find it difficult for many players to erase that bluff and do NOT want to be shown another. Sometimes I get paid with all in bet.
My weakness is opening up my range too much when I am not getting cards and calling small bets pre-flop with marginal hands then forcing a continuation too much with a low win percentage.
How do you as a recreation player resist playing anything but tight when you are not getting cards? When you are getting cards it seems easy but other nights it seems tough sitting it out for hours.

  5. 16:11"Little did we know, our opponent had Q2 and folded to our overbet. I didn't think much of it, but then later I found out I was playing against Mike Postle."
