4. I can’t afford to play a game with a negative EV. I’ve played a ton of blackjack in my day and am aware of what a positive EV will do. No matter how unlucky I was, I always eventually recovered it all back and then some. So I’m fully aware of what a negative EV will do. And I just can’t afford to lose money off of a free-lance musicians income.

5. Craps is the best game behind blackjack. Play the don’t and lay 5 times for the house. 30 gets 25 on 6 and 8. 30 gets 20 on 5 and 9. 30 gets 15 on 4 and 10. But even that is a losing game in the long run.

6. But it’s good to know the odds of all the games. Then you can figure out how much you can expect to lose per hour.
