Should I Learn Other Forms of Poker?

  1. Important points here. Lots to consider. I think: 🤔
    1. Improve in a game you are good at.
    2. Don’t play beyond your limits of ability or bankroll. “a man has got to know his limitations”
    3. Play a blended strategy. GTO and aggressive/exploitive. Be hard to play against- which means you are unpredictable.
    4. Whatever game you play, enjoy the journey. If it isn’t fun to grind anymore- it’s time to take a break and go back to learning.
Thanks (as always) for the fantastic content Alec. Always both enjoyable and challenging.

  2. Alec your videos are very knowledge full, i have learnt poker from your videos only, there is no other guy who explains hands in such a great way …. Love youu💙💙💙💙

  3. I think playing other forms of poker help with validating the basic fundamentals. Also the various forms have their own little differences that may help understanding other games. For example, Playing Limit Omaha Hi/Lo and 7 card stud help with improving my Hold’em game.

  4. I believe table tennis can also improve your NLH game. It's all about how you address the table before confronting your opponent. Having natural ability also helps, and a smattering of luck too just to top things off.

  5. Why did you go from Alec Torelli, to Conscious Poker, to Alec Torelli Poker?
