Poker Strategy Info And Source:

Joker Poker strategy can sometimes be not intuitive. In this video, I discuss several example hands and how to play each of them. All of them involve a joker.

This is a follow-up to my previous episode of Video Poker Showcase. For those of you confused on how to play certain hands involving a joker, this video is for you.

  1. This is probably the most confusing part of video poker, Joker plus which 1 card… I have to think these are very minor errors, less than 1% expectation loss if you pick the wrong card. It makes sense not taking hands with a flush penalty card, and I think the way it orders the middle cards is by how many straights they can make. That would make sense for 7.8.6. ordering. The confusing part to me is that the ten is before 5 or 9, that must be due to the extremely remote chance of a royal, which must contain a ten. Otherwise the order would make more sense at 7,8,6,9,5,10

  2. Man mike v , I opened up a can of worms with the joker poker request! At least While I’m on lockdown I can study up for when Atlantic City opens back up. Nice video as always. What do you think about doin a 20 dollar live challenge, I think you may have done something like that before I can’t remember if it was video poker or Holdem. Would be nice to watch you in action with some real skin in the game. Just a thought good luck πŸ€
