  1. Can we not put one of them on a flopped set with that action and flop texture? Set 6 or set 10's dominate us

  2. 5-handed you must just play it straightforward, bet bigger on the flop and you will find out where your at. If you then get played back at in a multiway pott, you can easy let it go or slow down if you get callers. The point is that I would rather overbet 120$ on flop and fold to deepstack rais then bet 1/2 pott and then call of the 250 and then fold on turn. Pay of shortstack if you get all in HU against him. QJ combos alone will give you more equity then you need against him.

  3. I lost 900 on 1/3 two days ago with KK in a hand. Unwilling to fold to raise on turn to nit. Then when nit bet 400 on river. Called 400 to hopefully win 1470. Nits don't semi bluff large, or bet with less that 2 pair+

  4. Bart, you said you would be more likely to call the raise on the flop with the AdAx because you have backdoor flush equity. I think this is wrong. The fact that you are blocking many of the possible flush draws that raise flop make his range way value heavier. I think this more than counterbalances the backdoor flush equity. I’d prefer calling with black aces here…

  5. The player could have probably avoided the whole situation if he raised it to 35-45$. Raising it to $20 just invites bad beats..and he was playing a 3/5 game. Really?

  6. Seem like a pretty standard hand for a soft game. If people want to get involved incorrectly with hands like KT and K6, they will sometimes suck out on you. But as long, as you dont loose to much, when it happen, its nothing to worry about.

  7. Think having Ad in hand is actually worst when facing flop raise. Backdoors are nice and all, but in this situation you are blocking a substantial portion of NFD that would get raised here on flop. Actually think it’s better to have AA no diamond here when deciding which combos to fold.

  8. a 50$ half size bet on that wet board flop looks really weak. It could induce a raise.
