  1. How do you raise that river? You are either calling or folding, its too optimistic to try folding a flush in this spot with just the nut blocker

  2. Whole mess is is avoided by betting. Use the Ace of spades on your turn bet to increase the size and get a better premium – make him draw to the 2nd or 3rd nut flush and pay for the river. To me, if you check the turn, you better check the river when it completes…….. or you'll face a nasty raise. What is he raising? A set – after the flush gets there? You let him get his flush for free. "He won't give me three streets of value with KJ". True. But your 2nd street of value if he has QJ of spades is the turn….

  3. River bluff definitely can be taking advantage of your small bet. If I would have bet 2/3 or 3/4 pot and got raised id be more likely to fold then call or repop it(but as played given bet size I don't hate it)… I would have folded river to your 3b with QsTs. Maybe I'm a fish?

  4. This Hero seem to be overthinking his situations quite a bit. Just play some more ABC poker. Bet when you have strong value (turn), call when you have a bluff catcher (river), and bluff when your opponent is weak, not when he is raising for value.
