  1. How many combos of AQ/Ax of hearts are there? We block the straight…pretty straightforward call on this river imo. The snap jam also hints weakness. I don't mind this line against a mega fish…but this guy just planned on check-folding? Pussy.

  2. The biggest risk is that you have a losing strategy when you think you have a winning strategy.

  3. Don’t like the turn bet either. But when the second ace comes imo it’s a good card. Less chance he has the ace so if your plays to check and with the dynamics I think you gotta call it off. If the second ace doesn’t come and same actions happen then I prob fold. Any thoughts on my thinking here?

  4. with this exact action, speech play, board and speed in which villain acts this river is a call. that said i would have check folded turn. thoughts?

  5. I think you were too fast to think hero was beat in this hand Bart. Villains flop /turn calling range consists of KQ/QJ of hearts. Ace on the turn is a good card for us once turn bet is called and not raised.

  6. Why can’t villain have KQh/QJh ? 2 aces on the board also gives you a higher 2 pair if villain has QTo

  7. An extremely tight pre-flop range and ABC poker is easily exploitable, especially when you bet two streets and shut down on the A river. If you were balanced, and he thought you were capable of checking a monster on the river, you would be less exploitable. The biggest problem most players have is a total lack of balance.
