  1. How do you beat good poker players? Also, here is why you get so unlucky in poker (it's not what you think) https://youtu.be/ha15xw4V3A8

  2. Best is to avoid them if its impossible play good hands plus being aggressive vs them preferrably with some drawing to nuts hand if not made one

  3. Was playing against a really good player the other day. He was completely controlling the table and winning most hands. I pretty much did this. Raised pre, then kept betting, even though I missed. He was very loose-aggressive, so most of the time he was just bullying and would fold at river.

  4. Great video Nathan I play the same way against good players and mix up my frequencies. This is how to play highstakes poker. It goes from checkers to chess 🙂

  5. Thanks for this video. It's helpful because altho can try to avoid better players, sometimes you have to play better players, especially in tournaments.

What I usually do is play according to POSITION, situational nuances like table, player, game dynamics, board, opponent ranges, tendencies, opponent frequencies, my table image, lots of variables, etc.

I let that help determine my play, reactions, etc. Doing those things, playing that way, often GIVES THE APPEARANCE that I am mixing up my game with different frequencies.

Example, I will mix up, cbetting, and betting, checking river, etc. Others may think I am mixing up game with different frequencies, but I am really just reactively making that play because of factors, etc.

A problem can happen with this approach, and that is that if the same factor, conditions comes up, then I make the same reactive play with less mixing up or less appearing to mix up game, frequencies.

Another possible problem with that approach is a very good aware player that can notice, track, that I reactively play according to the above named factors, etc.

Because of this I probably do need to conciously mix up my game with different frequencies occasionally vs better, good players, even when, if it goes against the best play vs a situational factor, etc.

Also very good players can see thru a player who is checking 33% of time to mix up game.. If I am playing vs a player that checks 33% of time to try to mix up game, I realize that player is still BETTING A LOT, and play accordingly, so their trying to mix up their game by checking 33% of the time doesn't do any good vs me except in the very short term. And if that applies to me, it can apply to other good players, tho most players, even good players, still won't be able to see thru that as often.

Also question, how do you determine when to mix up your game with different frequencies?

Do you flip a coin, use a calculator, etc, to make sure your checking about 33% of the time?

Also another thing that can be done vs good players, is to watch good players. Even good players have weaknesses, that can be detected, and then maybe exploited, if your able to do that.

But really, the best way is to AVOID them, the very good players. Play the FIELD. the are other players at the table. If you can't play the other players in the field, can't seem to avoid them, either goto another table, or if in tournament, play less hands, etc.

Thanks again for video Nathan. You have given even a profitable, experienced(17 years playing), player something to think about, maybe probably do, etc.

  7. However it is just few time. Battling good players is so mind loveup and not profit in the long term, the best play is just play with the fish

  8. Thanks for your videos brother. You brought me to the next level. I get beat ya but we all do sometimes. It's learning from the mistake. Now I always win more than I get beat which is a nice feeling.
