Turning Pairs into Bluffs (Poker Strategy)

  1. Regarding the first hand. At 1/2 and 1/3 stakes villains with Kings on boards like this will never fold. I’ve seen it with four cards to a flush or four to a straight. They will snap call with Kings . Low stakes players fall in love with their hand and will call almost any bet. Bluffing in low stake games is tough to do.

  2. Pretty sure J85 two tone is a board you want bet less with larger sizings since every hand pretty much has equity vs you for the most part. Broadways have overs or top pair, all suited connectors and gappers have pairs, OE, double gutters and flush draws or BDFD. Top pair + has a lot of incentive to get money in quick while they can.

  3. Id like to see A8 turned into bluff and dueces rebluff him. Again, i dont see it coming as its highly suspicious as mike postle style

  4. In the first hand I dont like the KK fold. When turn goes check-check, neither player is likely to have AX or a flush draw, so he could even be betting QX for value on the river.

  5. I both hate this bluff with 98 suited and this fold with kings. I have no idea what you’re even repping which is why I have no idea why kings folded.

  6. The first hand 89 bluff isnt logical to me. You either call that flop thinking you beat the other player with your pair or you fold. Calling to maybe make an overpair to your pair fold later on is poor logic. On the river, all Ax KK and Qx should be calling and maybe some hero TT and JJ.
