  1. Hey James big fan of the podcast and former core student here. Was wondering if you have an email address I could contact about inquiries for private coaching. Thanks!

  2. Rivers Philly runs all 3 games where 1/3 NL has a max buy in of $500. $5 max rake plus $2 BBJ which is same for all levels. 2/5nl 1k cap. 1/2 is 60-300.
Does 1/3 seem reasonable to play?

  3. The one thing I’m finding very frustrating being someone who started playing poker during the beginning of the pandemic and I have put a lot of homework in; buying MasterClass just for DNeg and Iveys classes, watching all the content I can find online, putting the hours in on the virtual and RW felt is that 1/2 seems to be full of people who just spaz out! Just last night at the Borgata I lost a big pot, I 3bet on the button to $15 with AKs after 3 players limp, BB and 2 limpers call, flop comes K,7,3 rainbow I bet and get 2 callers, turn a 9, I bet, 1 caller, River a 4, and he jams for $135, I call and he shows 9/4 off suit!!!!!!! How can I possibly know he has that hand?

  4. I agree that 1/2 and 1/3 are virtually the same but I've played at 24 poker rooms in North America and have never seen both 1/2 NLHE and 1/3 NLHE spread at the same time. It's always one or the other.

  5. In upstate ny 1/3 is better then most cause u can buy in for biggest stack 2/5 never gets going cause of that fact

  7. My room just started 1/3 match big stack which plays like 2/5
1/2 $200 max is trash can’t beat the rake

  8. Problem in london is that £1/2 plays like £2/£5 or even £5/£10 in the US, because you could essentially have 500-1000bb on table so all ‘good players’ play £1
    /£2

  9. The Bicycle Casino in LA has two of the worst game structures at its lowest stakes in no limit hold ‘em I’ve ever seen. And they take the rake preflop!!

    $1/$2 is min 40 max 60 (!!!!!!)
    $1/$3 is min 60 max 120
    $2/$3 is min 100 max 300
    3/5 min 200 max 500
    5/5 min 300 max 1000
    5/10 min 500 no maximum
