Poker Tips Video Source & Information:

Making postflop mistakes in poker can compound to losing your entire stack very quickly. This is something that you can easily avoid with the poker tips in this video!

It is important to recognize that once you have learnt your preflop ranges that you should be learning to play postflop and with this poker advice you will be on the right path to poker glory!

I see lots of poker players overvaluing their medium strength hands and playing them too aggressively which results in winning small pots but losing very large ones! When you have a marginal made hand you should be taking a much more passive route by checking and calling more frequently.

The best poker players will balance their poker strategy by playing their strong value hands and their bluffs in exactly the same manner so that their opponents are unaware of the strength of their hand. Losing poker players will play their value hands in a particular way and then their bluffs differently. Competent opponents will quickly figure this out and destroy these types of players winning all of their money!

  1. What would you say is another huge postflop mistake that either you make or you see your opponents make?

  2. The last hand 7s6s, on the flop absolutely trash hand, maybe check back is a better play? Call turn or check back and call river or check back.

  3. Hey Johnathan, I had a stop today playing 1/2 online. I had 99 on the button I raise to 2.5 bb, sb raises to 10.2 bb I call in position. Flop : Q76 rainbow he bets half pot, I call. Turn : K completing rainbow, he bets half pot I fold. Is this the right way to play this spot? Should I have just folded on the flop? Should I have still continued on the turn?

  4. https://youtu.be/9l101Gg81o8 Can we just talk about the fact a video posted 11 years ago, Chris Ferguson called you out as going to be a great player!

  5. Question on that first hand the QTs let's say we check instead and river 2 pair and the opponent leads big should we still call on the river or should we fold

  6. Always get you with the like button! Least I can do for everything you put out for free.

  7. What about against the fishes in micro stakes online? Do you need to be balance or you can get away without being balanced more often?
