  1. Stay in school!  I'm glad I have my college degree to fall back on during the dark downswings…I can always get a job and quit it to go back into Poker retirement and play full time when it's the right time.

  2. I tried going pro ,went broke, started doing coke and meth. started robbing houses and doing prostitution, now I'm a full-time whore and cat burgler I make 5k a day. best decision of my life

  3. Hi Alec! As an established professional poker player have you gotten involved in the political aspect of poker? i.e. Why is online poker outlawed in the US? Is it because of one man – Sheldon Adelson?? Has he singlehandedly been able to shut US online poker down through political influence? I think if pro's like you used your power to get involved in politics and laws regarding poker maybe it could be legal and regulated for us all. I'm tired of risking money at shady sites with no oversight. How do you know they're all not ripping us off?? Thanks for your time and effort in all your videos. I really enjoy them.

  4. Hide your big chips behind and get amateurs to shove on you. That really is the best way.

  5. Save all the money you can… go to vegas with a friend and live it up for a week
