  1. Mistake number six: Folding royal flushes. Folding Royal Flushes is a bad idea. They are a very strong hand and shouldn't be folded.(Though every once in a while you will want to balance your royal flush folding range)

  2. This video is a mature take on a game (I like to say sport) often associated with degenerates chasing the high of winning. Alec, you have become one of my 2 favorite YouTube coaches (along with Doug Polk — very different style, but I gotta "balance my range", as they say) — keep your head straight & keep up the great work! //jp

  3. Thnx alex. Needed this. Been running really bad lately and its frustrating me to the point of extreme doubt

  4. Alec, this is the video I share with people, especially other poker players I respect in my life, when I want to introduce them to you & your style — right after I tell them you are my favotite online poker coach! Your "Hand of the Day" format / formula is great — I always learn some nugget of wisdom from each one. Keep up the great work on & off the table! //jp

  5. Calling down Doug Polk with JJ at the Bike: what a legendary hand Alec!

  6. I have taken Cretins may times checking a WINNING HAND. MOST will raise on a check

  7. No.3 is good advice. I take $300 no cards no wallet playing $1/2 games each night I play till they move us along, if I get beat I go home. Never chasing my losses. Have 3 good days a 7 day week covers any bad beats and stresses. There's alot of poker in pubs here in Australia .. avoid those, your always tilted as people will always chase that gutter
