The only thing that doesn't make sense is putting 1 unit on the 3rd column. Every time it doesn't come up, you're losing $1. Every time it does come up, you're only gaining $2. If you're not up betting on the columns or dozens, you're just going to lose on that part in the long run.
That's the "thing" with the static systems. Basically waiting for the edge to take over… jmo
