In this video, we take a look at some bubble warfare straight from a lesson from the road to success course.
When there are pay jumps in a poker tournament we can take advantage of people with high bubble factors in order to maximise our profits.
We look at a number of hands. The first of which is from the big $162 on PokerStars with some reg on reg action where the stacks are pretty even. Even without a big stack, we can time our 3bets well to maximise leverage against an opponent who raised from early position.
A second hand example looks at the final table of a $33 PokerStars where we face an aggressive 3bettor who has recently been taking a lot of time for his decisions. We looked to 4bet vs his 3bet as we were expecting his light 3bet.
