Playing a Monster Draw in No Limit Hold’em Cash Game

Texas Holdem Strategy Video Source & Information:

My reader Brad flops a huge draw in this Heads Up No Limit Hold’em pot. He’s super deep stacked, out of position and has questions about what to do in this heads up cash game. He takes some questionable lines, but finds himself making a flush on the river only to get faced with a huge raise. Should he fold, call or jam? Leave your thoughts in a comment below. What would be your cash game strategy in this heads up game?

Much love.
Alec

  1. You have to have a brain to actually have a brain fart. Great fold you will get them next time..

  2. I think Brad was trolling you. No one is that bad in real life. No one who has seen a poker video at least.

  3. I would never fold my flush! She still could have an A/K of clubs and beat me but I got to see that!

  4. Call is the definitely the right play. Although I honestly might've just jammed on the river after that re-raise. Bad play I know, but in the moment I'd be thinking he might call with something worse, like 3 10s , or two pair, if he thought I was bluffing. And since the way Brad played the hand ..it doesn't seem like he has a flush…so he could very well be bluffing.

  5. Stunned by the fold. I was expecting a showdown for sure and the fold was totally out of character for the way the rest of the hand played out.
Nothing is 100%, but I really think hero folded the best hand.
