  1. Just a few comments. There should be no personal feelings involved when it comes to playing. Basic Strategy is the optimal way to play based on the rules at hand. It's not good advice to recommend changing things up here and there. Here, you seem to be playing a H17 single deck game. You ALWAYS double 11 in that case, your failure to do so against the dealer's 8 and 10 is not a good move. Also, you should have doubled 9 v 2. Lastly, a dealer won't always hit S17, some games still employ the S17 rule.
