  1. From the time the cards are 1st being dealt in the casino, they are being "seperated", or "clumped", of you prefer. This is due to the "not so random" card collection method, wherein busted hands which contain alternating high and low cards, are placed in the discard rack as they bust, which usually leaves a good amount of high cards on the table at the end of the hand. When the dealer shows a 2-6, far less hitting occurs, which in turn causes low cards to get grouped together. This situation is perpetuated as long as the cards are shuffled and replayed. Look up the info on how the shufflemaster works, observe your local casinos hand shuffle, practice both, while playing as if a 50-75% full table which is consistent in casinos, intentionally. You will see for yourself, clumping in action.

  2. I see this ALOT on ASM Machine Shufflers. Stay away from ASM Machine Shufflers if you want to avoid this card clumping. Play ONLY hand shuffle games if you play basic strategy, and want to win more overall hands. If you get a run on a ASM Machine Shuffle game, don't be fooled to think it will happen often. It does not. Most of the time you will find that ASM Machine Shuffle BJ will clump the cards grossly in the house's favor. Play hand shuffle or don't play at all. That's my advice, and I've lived in Vegas and have been playing BJ all over the world for 30+ years.
