  1. yeah i use basically basic strategy + count estimating with a tad of gut intuition for doubling when i should hit and keeping a bet tally to know what size bet would make me break even or go positive.

  2. It’s funny watching your videos and hearing about how many serious players still fundamentally distrust logic. Like this concept of a “lucky dealer”.

  3. Does anyone find the game less interesting because mathematically “perfect” systems are possible, taking all real decision making out of it? Even with chess and all its advanced theory and “gambits”/opening move patterns there still always comes a point in the game beyond the realm of prior analysis where it is up to the player and his ability to think on his feet to win. Maybe part of it is I’ve never much liked doing math (though I was in advanced AP classes in high school), and became a law student with a career that will use very little of it, so games that are too math based lose some appeal for me.

  4. Hit the sucker in big negative counts, stay on the big high count for that 15 versus a facecard. Don't fool with minors, a player can get in a lot of trouble, and besides it's so sick and wrong to take a woman's innocence at such a tender age.

  5. Almost every table has a continuous shuffle machine … counting cards gotta be dead

  6. Would you say for a recreational player, say a 10 dollar flat bettor; that a micro count is a horrible strategy? Say instead of betting 10 bet 20-50 if you feel comfortable with it? I know it’s not optimal but is it bad?

  7. So if the game starts, it doesn't matter how many decks are in play. From the first card that is dealt I bet according to the counting of the cards ?
