#1 When to double down

On aces, splitting gives you two hands to play with starting from a value of one on each, and on eights, depending on the dealer’s hand, it makes you less of an underdog than playing a single hand with a hard 16.

#3 Keep counting

Card counting is legal, provided no equipment is involved. By counting cards, you can keep track of the ratio of high to low cards. It is somewhat of an art and a science but can be mastered through practice. There are many ways to count cards in blackjack, all of which are a great way of increasing your odds of winning.
