1. Double the 5s.good chance of 10 card for 20 result

2. Definitely split 5s against a 6. It could give you some double opportunities. Assume the dealer goes bust

5. Why do you ask for the card face down? And when is an appropriate time/situation to ask for the card face down??

7. I believe there is a variation when counting once the count is at a certain point you split 55 against a 6. I could be wrong it’s been 7 years since I counted for a living and I’m drunk currently 🤣
