Darkstar – I have been wanting to understand splitting 10's since a player last month did and the dealer called to the pit boss about it. I thought it was rude thinking he was calling the player stupid without a clue what it could mean and found the dealers are required to do so. In trying to understand better I remembered you mentioned in a previous video you wanted to a video on it and I am very pleased you made this. I understand the short answer is there are times when you could or should based on the count and you gave examples but I confess I feel there is more I should know but suspect after watching it a few more times I will pick out more. Your videos and personal instruction has improved my game many times over and I am most grateful. A satisfied patreon.
I keep getting books but they always seem to cover the basics, are there any good books that cover more difficult topics in card counting?
Against a 6 or 8 deck shoe, you rarely get the opportunity to split 10’s successfully. You need good penetration
You never hit 88. Either you split or surrender.
