  2. Can you cut corners and not hit on a ten because you have system. Is that considered wrong or not right play. Just wondering? Thanks.

  3. J, firstly, a $250 loss is not a huge loss at a $10 table. Many times I have been down more that that and come back when I was spreading $10-120. Secondly as for how often the TC is 0 or less, Ken Smith's (Not me, the famous Ken Smith) website Blackjackinfo.com Lesson 11 has a breakdown of the frequency distribution of various values of the TC. It works out that 67% of the time the TC is 0 or less, and 80% of the time it's +1 or less. So if you're wanting to Wong in at a TC of +2 or higher, you're only going to be playing 20% of the hands dealt.

  4. First time I went I played 1st base, which was a bit of a mistake because I had less time to add up the cards before the dealer asked me for my decision. I know I messed up the count a few times, probably by around 3 on the running count I'd estimate. If I was unsure If I was quiet at the value for the next tier of my bet spread, I wouldn't go quite all the way up to it like $10 instead of $15. I wonged for a while too and this old man got pissed at me haha. I ended up making $92 in 3 hours though, I obviously got a bit lucky but I'm happy with how I performed the first time.
