No, the martingal system actually works provided if there is a retracement or repetition of the previous movements of the price and it is entered by double betting that means if the price goes up or down you have a double betting so that there will be profits of one of the bettings and while the other will go towards the opposite direction it will have the material system implemented so when the market retraces the whole lost (with the wrong betting) will be covered up and the betting that was correct will anyway take the profits already

  2. I mean, how did it take you that long to solve it?
    Without the math sollution, it should to come to your mind instantly as an answer, shouldn't it?

  3. "Break Even" is for when you bet the same. Changing the bet is functionally a change to the basic rules.

  4. I see it like this:
    If a player plays 1 series of bets until they win, then the player wins 2 eventually.
    If a player repeats a series of n bets, then the player sometimes wins and sometimes loses and the expected result is 0.
    In the first scenario a single bet is repeated and in the second scenario a series of n bets is repeated, so the game is different and thus the result is different.
