  1. I have played approximately a couple of hundred hands, mostly 10 chip bets using basic strategy and I am up about $40. I find I tend to build up quickly winning most of the early hands then the dealer starts building hands on almost every stiff it deals itself. I think the trick to winning a lot is playing short duration, get a lead, then leave the table.

  2. Insurance is a sucker bet unless you're counting cards.  As far as I know, you can't count cards in this game because the deck is "shuffled" after every hand and you can't even see the other player's cards to count them.  Not very realistic since blackjack in the early 1900's would be dealt down to the last card or nearly the last card before the cards would be shuffled.

    I think it will be easier just to look up how to play black jack in real life.

  4. how come when i get 20 and i double down it says i bust with 29,30 summet :S i thought double down just means stick but double money not bouble card value :S
