At 3:24 Steve mentions to always use basic strategy. That's not entirely correct. If you count then always go by the deviations. I know! I know! You make more money deviating with just your bet than playing deviations. But you should still use the deviations for an extra 20% EV.
In a pitch game only use one hand to hold the cards. I have held them with two hands and the dealer corrected me.
