  1. What do you guys & gals think about this strategy:
Say you have a bankroll of $10,000 and you ONLY want to win $500 bucks
    First bet $500, you lose
Next you bet $1000 (add $500 each time you lose) you lose that round
Next you bet $1500, you win
You would of gained all you money back plus the $500.

This strategy isn't always guaranteed but it is likely you will win one time right? And this only works if the maximum bet is over $10,000 or more depending? What do you think?

  2. Thanks for the video. I have just one question. What do you think about having a basic strategy card at the table as camouflage, to looks like someone who discovered blackjack (and of course we do not deviate from basic strategy)?

  3. Hi, I'm 16 years old and have started learning Blackjack card-counting through Blackjack Apprenticeship on Youtube as well as the mini-course offered on the site. Do you think 2 years of practising with friends and the free card-counting tools available on Blackjack Apprenticeship will be enough or do you still suggest that I become a BJA Member after 18?

BTW, Colin, I have great respect for what you are doing, ie. teaching people the basics of card-counting for free. Another question I have is that 'do you think perfect Blackjack card-counting with a starting bankroll of 10,000 dollars will earn me more money in 10 years than an investment in index funds, stocks, shares, real estate, etc.?'

  4. Another example of information that was good a few years ago 90s into early 20s. This works at mom and pops hole in the wall casinos. If you think the eye is watching the way you look/dress wrong, they are watching your playing 1 then your bets 2. So wear a wig or a hat or a red and blk checker flannel shirt with that hat like drew πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ won’t help. Great info 10 to 20 years ago, way to stay with the times buddy πŸ‘

  5. As a casino surveillance person, yes camo absolutely works. Casinos rely on a network of information between each other, and using catelogues such as Griffin. While you as a counter might go under the radar, you might also get automatically spotted, put on alerts and everyone around town will be gunning for you.

The two biggest identifying factors any agent looks for are:
    1) Hairline
    2) Eyes

Ears and jawline can look quite different in different lighting. Eyes / hairline however are distinctive.

I recommend wearing hats and some form of glasses. While it will draw attention to you it will also prevent casinos from knowing exactly what you look like.

The last and most important however:

    3) Players cards. Dont use them. You cant be 86'd if you dont have a name. Generally dont use your name anywhere. I wouldnt recommend driving on property in your own vehicle either. If you are anonymous every time they will have to count you every time giving you a guaranteed 30-60 minutes depending on casino and traffic.

Just my tips, I low key support y'all and you keep my job entertaining.

  6. I'm a young girl, If I stand behind 2-3 tables during the night pretending to be a scared dumb newbie and wong in when the count is good, how fast are they gonna find out?

  7. Love your videos! I have a question about getting rated. When I sit at a table I am immediately asked for ID because of how young I look (I’m 21). I can’t enter casinos that ID at the door without giving them my information before entering. What should I do in my case? I don’t see a reason to not get a players card and at least have a chance to benefit from comps since they already know my information.

  8. I'll often pretend to agonize over decisions that will confuse an average player, like whenever you get soft 18, or a 15 or 16 vs. a high card. Sometimes you do get a "toss up" descision play. When this occurs, I'll ask other players or the staff what to do and then take their advice. Like the last time a played I had a running +7 with a little less than 3 decks left. A 12 versus a dealer 2 came up.
