☕️ Coffee and Craps #15: The Hedgeless Horseman

Learn Craps Video Source And Information:

Rolling out the Hedgeless Horseman strategy, with a real focus on managing our money, operating the rack, and tuning this craps strategy to take advantage of table trends. This is an excellent craps strategy for beginners, as its easy to learn and operate, but also a good one for veterans that can spot trends and hop on them accordingly.

☕️ Welcome to Coffee and Craps where I regularly live stream craps strategy practice, continuing to build up my 401(g) account. Starting with $5,000 .. building up that bankroll day by day. I treat this just like a trip to the casino (but with commentary)

==================== TODAYS STRATEGY ====================

4 Units Per Shooter:

1 Unit on the Don’t Pass
3 Successive 1 Unit Come Bets

Options to lay odds on the don’t, take odds on the come bets, recycle bets into place bets, and even press things up once the tide changes.

==================== SESSION SUMMARY ====================

Buy-In: $155

– 5 Shooters at $20 each
– Bonus Bet Bankroll of $55

We ended up with a 4 Unit Profit, which is about 10%. Not amazing, but a win is a win.

We never dipped into our bankroll past the first shooter! This strategy is super resilient

  1. Not a stellar profit day (my plays on the trends was not great) … but we never went down past shooter #1 in our bankroll, and we responded very well to a loss: battling back hard, building up our bankroll again, and showing a profit, albeit small.

    I mis-read my own trend in this session of rolling the corner numbers, even if the table itself was trending south. Had I trusted my roll, or at the least avoided the temptation to let pure probability drive my decision, we'd have been up by about 15 units. Good learning there!

  2. This might be good to try with your partner concept. One betting inside and the other doing this??

  3. Thanks John, I like the various freestyle plays you can incorporate with this strategy although you were unlucky with the lay odds on the 10 both times (the dice never seem to co-operate on live rollouts) even though they were solid plays. I also like the idea of playing this relatively safe strategy without variation for the first couple of shooters to get a feel for the table trends. I must admit that I don’t understand why you have the bonus bankroll and don’t just include it with the initial bankroll, then call the whole amount your bankroll, it seems at odds with your strict 4 units per shooter rule. Cheers. Rob

  4. New subscriber. Like your vids and methodology. I play Craps and Baccarat 3 days a week at my local casino Harrah's Cherokee NC. I have the advantage of playing on a $5 digital Craps Table with real dice. We had the very 1st Digital Craps table in the country. Explain what would you do if your DP gets knocked off multiple times on the come out roll? Hedge? Increase your DP/Chase I doubt it? Wait for next shooter? Lastly NEVER take your DP down. Odds yes/ok. Once the DP makes it pass the Come Out Roll the DP always has the advantage to win. If you must in your mind want to remove the DP just place the place bet with the same unit and wait for the place bet or 7 to roll. This way at least you still have a chance to win something if the place bet hits. There is also other reasons not to take down your DP which I will not go into here right now. Do you play regularly at your local casino? Keep us updated on your play. I only follow a few Craps YouTubers whom actually play for real money at a brick and mortar casino on a consistent basis.
    Keep the vids coming and maybe we can talk sometime in the near future?

  5. Like the base bet strategy…there are many ways to vary off of this base…great job!!! Lots of ideas floating in my head…we will run this soon!! Keep up the good work!!
