You explanation of the odds are wrong and overly complicated. The odds for 6 and 8 are the same just as it is the same for 5 and 9, and 4 and 10. For 4 and 10 its 2:1 meaning every $1 bet get $2 on a win. For 5 and 9, it's 3:2 meaning every $2 you bet get $3 on a win. For 6 and 8, its 6:5 meaning every $5 you bet, you get $6 on win.
