Moreno Drill for new dealers learning craps or veteran craps dealers

Learn Craps Video Source And Information:

The Moreno drill is designed to help new or veteran dealers practice their speed and accuracy.

Beginning with a set amount of chips the goal is to set up single unit up to six unit place bets. Afterwards paying the bets properly utilizing half of the lay out (3rd base side pay 8-10, first base side pay the 4-6.) Upon completion of the payouts there should be no chips left, then the dealer would go through cleaning up the payouts. The goal is to complete the drill in 2 minutes or less.

!!New dealers!! my suggestion would be to concentrate on being smooth and accurate before really concentrating on speed. Just like anything, your speed will come! It is always best to be smooth and accurate than it is to be fast, sloppy, and inaccurate! Furthermore it is really interesting to record yourself doing this drill for the first time, then recording yourself several weeks or months later to see your improvement!

If you can beat the 2 minute mark please comment or share a video of yourself completing the drill!

The set amount of chips is as follows:

White ($1) – 56
Red ($5) – 90
Green ($25) – 21

1 unit across = 27
2 units across = 54
3 units across = 81
4 units across = 108*
5 units across = 135*
6 units across = 150*

* – 4 or 10 are place bets not buys and on the 6 units the 6 and 8 are 30 not 36
