Proposition Bets – How to Play Craps Pt. 12
Today we cover the proposition bets, also known as prop bets or center bets. These are the all the long shot bets in the center of the table, sometimes called sucker bets. Are they fun? Yes! Can you win a lot for a small bet? Yes. Are they wise? No… but they are exciting.

This is the twelfth and final video in my craps for beginner series.

Not one of the center or prop bets has a house edge below 9% so it would be wise to stay away, but they are just too tempting for most of us. One thing nice about the prop bets is you don’t have to meet the table minimum. You can bet any combination of the dice for just a dollar. There are two different types of prop bets. Most are one roll bets which win or lose on the next roll of the dice. The other prop bets are the hardway bets and these stay active until it loses and can last for many rolls.
