  1. Some of us try to limit Contract bets on random players.

    "If" you're killing time waiting to shoot and trying to conserve bankroll, you may want to skip the Come bet (7/11 hedge), since it becomes a Contract bet.
    Bet the DP for $6, when point is set. Then Place that number with a standard unit. Now you can't loose.
    If the point is set at:
    4 or 10, place for $5, net $3 on made point, net $1 if 7 out.
    5 or 9, place for $5, net $1 on made point, net $1 if 7 out.
    6 or 8, place for $6, net $1 on made point, net is a push on 7 out.

    I know it's a grinder, but it keeps you in the game, cheaply.

  2. It's good Jeff. Think that's similar to the horse less hedgeman. Most of the time betting on others can eat you up which is what the casino wants also if they require action to stay at the table. This is a good answer for that also

  3. Energy definitely matters. I left tables with bad energy because it's all negative. You will lose. If there's a positive energy going on around the table and someone is playing the don't, it doesn't matter to me. People can play what they like.

  4. I have experienced both good and bad karma at the table. A way I have found to initiate some good karma is to start tipping the dealers early with bets for them. Getting the dealers involved by making bets for them………gets them into the game. It also sometimes gets other players making tip bets for the dealers……….Also……if a player has a good long roll………it is time to congratulate him/her —telling him/her "great roll" or even……….if winning big………..to tip the shooter or make a bet for them…… Positive actions produce positive results!

  5. My method of "passing time" waiting for the dice to come around is to wait for the point to be established, and then place a minimum table bet on the 6 and 8. If on a $5 table—-and a 6 or 8 is rolled……. I have $5 at risk (12-7). After a second hit…….I am ahead $2. After a third hit…… depending on my confidence in the shooter (qualified or not qualified) I will either press or rack the win.
