Build a 3 Phase Attack Strategy to Win at Craps

Craps Strategy Video Information:

Set yourself up to win more frequently, more reliably, and more consistently at Craps. How? Employ a 3 phase attack to break down your win goal into more achievable chunks and start winning at craps more often!

==================== SHOW NOTES =========================

Break your play up into 3 phases, each about 3 rolls in length:

Phase 1: Get to your foundation, and get even.
Phase 2: Lock in a profit (any profit!)
Phase 3: Attack

A couple of sports analogies to help you visualize this

In baseball … get a guy on, get him into scoring position, get him in
In football … get a first down, get into the red zone, score

If you approach the game in smaller chunks, those little goals add up, and are more achievable in the long run.

  1. Always the iconoclast, I’m going to avoid having to do any of these things. And have a whale of a time not doing it.

  2. A better way to play small ball is, win 3 units … on the comeout you play 75 dollars on the Don't pass line.

once you established a number, you will play 150 dollars across, and 25 dollars on the field each unit is worth 25 dollars.

If you shoot and the number is a [4 ] you have won 3 units , right their you stop BECAUSE you have won the 3 units you are looking to win, you won 2 units on the 4 and 1 unit on the Field.

    If you shoot a [ 4 ] you win 2 units. plus 1 unit on the field. units won [ 3 ]
    If you shoot a [ 9 ] you win 1 unit. plus 1 unit on the field. units won [ 2 ]
    If you shoot a [ 10 ] you win 2 units. plus 1 unit on the field. units won [ 3 ]

If you shoot the [ 2 ] you win 2 units.
If you shoot the [ 3 ] you win 1 unit.
If you shoot the [ 11 ] you win 1 unit.
If you shoot the [ 12 ] you win 2 units.

Once you have Won 3 units, you will take down all your place numbers… except the comeout Number you have established, till you either 7 out, or throw the comeout number.

    Your friend from Puerto Rico.

  3. Love the idea of using first few rolls to get even and secure profit. Definitely something I would advise anyone to do

  4. Having a multi-phase way to approach the game is a great idea. I always like that you acknowledge there is more than one way to play this game and we can have different goals for different situations. Thanks for all you do for building the conversation and the community.

  5. TOO MANY Strategies that rely on "Big Rolls". But I REALLY LIKE hearing your logic and the way you think causd it helps me develop better ideas myself working toward after getting "On Base" with NO RISK but giving up a VERY SMALL Sacrifice that can be EASILY made back! Then the "GET EM" OVER stage would be again about VERY MINIMAL RISK and the "GET EM" IN Stage should be just sit back and Collect at ANY POINT till the 7 clears the board and you REPEAT with the Next Inning!!!!! Good Stuff John!
