  1. Thanks Jacob, it’s taken a while, but you have finally convinced me that the iron cross can be used as a profitable strategy. It complements your 6-7-8 strategy perfectly for those non 9 inside points. Sure you had a good session with very few come out 7-11’s and very few points hit, but you have demonstrated countless other times how to rebound from those hits. Jameson’s expertise with the dice was a hit, but I suspect that you are right and casino’s might draw the line at 1 year old shooters! Cheers

  2. Thanks for showing. The DP-only play again kills it with $1415 won and $400 lost with a net $1015 profit. Your bankroll would have been $1615 just playing the DP vs the hybrid final bankroll of $1397. Almost twice as good profit wise despite an excellent roll with young Jameson.

That one good roll still it only netted $373 in the rack despite winnings of $643. With light side growth/builder play a large chunk of the profit is given back to the house unless you have taken down all your action, unlike the don't which returns your wager and the profit on the seven.

Despite the one good hand the overall profitability is still compromised by all the light side bets not earning their rent most of the time. I'm not disputing that the don't bet covers the action and protects the bankroll, that's not my point, my point is the lost profit opportunity on the MAJORTIY 9/10 roles. Sure after three hits you may have covered their rent or most of the value of the don't (pick one but not both) but you haven't yet covered the profit you're going to miss on the don't, that needs another 3 hits and only then are you in a truely neutral position from a risk point of view, the don't is always at risk after 3 hits despite being the favourite to win. Unless you get 6 hits it's better to be playing the don't on its own or a regression on the light side action, or even use prop bets like you did with the horn (and that's what gave you actual profit) because they earn on average very similar to place and buy bets but they won't tax the DP nearly as much on the seven.

Here are the hand by hand results which tells the story:

    Hand DP-win/DP-loss Light-Win/Light-Loss
    1. +75/-0 +65/-70
    2. +175/-75 +45/-75
    3. +75/-75 +0/-70
    4. +195/-75 +20/-75
    5. +150/-75 +69/-135
    6. +175/-0 +145/-210
    7. +0/-100 +0/-75
    8. +100/-0 +15/-85
    9. +175/-0 +643/-270 (+315 profit from horn)
    10. +300/-0 +65/-245

  3. Jacob, I can’t give this video enough likes, simple strategy, well executed and explanation. Not for all who play the game for sure, some only play darkside, others luv the action on the right. Just wondering if Jameson needs a babysitter while I’m at the tables? Happy to have him shoot for me!

  4. Open question for everyone. You have 300 bank roll. 10 dollar pass line bet. You roll 2, 3, 12 and 7 out two times. You are down 100 dollars in 5 mins. What would you do?

  5. Hey, Wager! Man! By 10:29 into the video the lightbulb went on. Thanks for the insight!
