Craps Money Management | Color Up Method

Craps Strategy Video Information:

Today I show the Color Up Method of managing money at the craps table. Money management is a major aspect of playing the game of craps. In this video I talk about your total bankroll, session money, and ways to utilize the rack to track you money. I discuss the “once thru method” and how I decide when to walk away and when to pocket winnings and play more at the dice table.

  1. starting from the bankroll. I usually am a weekend trip gambler with my family so a decent chance I can just watch and get some enjoyment, so I pull 3-500 for the weekend as a whole; my sessions are about 100 buy-ins unless I have a plan. Keeping that logic in place a full week for gambling would be about 2000 (I don't have the income to be high roller). Also, any money I pull is never put back into my normal money stream (checking, etc), this isn't income this is fun, so anything I come back with I make as additional payments for debts to try to have some overall benefit besides enjoyment.

I do stop limits on games that are electronic in nature, normally half of what I buy-in, and raise the stop as I win.
Table games I wear cargo shorts and slip winnings into my pockets and play until I have no money in front of me. (really good for Pai-gow poker)
Craps I normally siphon winnings for tokes for dealers and do once through the method on whatever strat I chose at the time.

Hope someone found some useful tips in here. Cheers

  2. This was a great video with great advice!! When I go into a casino I walk in with what I am willing to lose with nothing else!! For example, I leave ALL my debit and credit cards in my truck or car and I play with that only!! With that strategy I don't lose anymore than what I waked into the casino with!!

  3. Mixing a bunch of different chips together per denomination is super distracting. Having to constantly break attention to try to figure out what your bets are makes the videos less enjoyable!
