  1. The iron cross needs to be played in three stages: recoup, rebuild, reap.

    Recoup = get you initial bankroll back in the rack asap.

    Rebuild = get up on the other box numbers using $10 wins, use parallel wins from the field and the min placed 4,9,10 to press up faster.

    Reap = once pressed up, press and collect.

    Rolls 1-4: Do not place the five, just collect the $10 or $11 dollars ($46 Total invested)

    Rolls 5-9: Place the 5, then the 9, then the 4 and 10.

    Rolls 10+: Press all the inside numbers to $30 each. If 4 and 10's are rolling get those pressed up to $30 as well. Once at the $30 level discontinue the $10 field and switch to $4 horn with the hopes of doing a back to back parlay. Any box numbers that hit after the first collect at $30 are press and collect until the hand ends.

    The break down of numbers (intervals) between 7's are as follows:

    33.3% of the time there will be 1-4 will be numbers between sevens

    33.3% of the time there will be 5-9 will be numbers between sevens

    33.3% of the time there will be 10+ will be numbers between sevens

    This corresponds to the following article:

    "Roll     Probability of Seven Out
    1=0.00000000
    2=0.11111111
    3=0.22788066
    4=0.33264746
    5=0.42387109
    6=0.50278913
    7=0.57095589
    8=0.62980865
    9=0.68060930
    10=0.72445344
    Well, there you have it.  By the sixth roll the chances are just a bit better than even that a shooter will have sevened out"

    In summary, the Iron Cross is not bad per se, one just has to know what they are up against when they play it.

    In my opinion it affords the maximum up side with the minimum amount of initial risk. Flat betting any strategy is recipe for disaster.

    Keep up the great work on the videos, even though I think the Iron Cross deserves a little more love.
