  1. Try not to chase your money… That said, don't be shy about doubling on 8, 9, 10, 11… sometimes I double on 12(A's) but better to split them. Good Luck.

  2. Know Basic strategy. BUT I never ALWAYS used "Basic Strategy". Surrender all 16's when a dealer has a seven or higher. If you are sitting with a stiff hand 12- 16 and the dealer has a "TEN" your choice as to whether you should hit or not but I usually would "wave it" because if you break you're OUT and if the dealer has a 2,3,4,5,6 underneath he has a chance to break to the 'Ten" you most assuredly would have gotten if you played Basic Strategy "correctly" with your stiff !! LOL So he "breaks" and you don't get paid like everyone else that's still alive but "they" "love you"???? because you "played it right"(????) . Gimme a break !! LOL. Good luck !! Good to always try and sit in the third base seat (far left just before the dealer) as you get to see the most recent cards played. This might help you very well if say you are thinking of doubling down with a ten or eleven and for example, if the last 6 out of 7 cards to show are NOT tens and you are looking for a ten you definately want to double down -right ! And the opposite is true too !! Lots of tens falling just before your decision maybe you should skip the double !?. Basic strategy is best utilized ONLY if you are going to be playing a whole lot of Blackjack – and I mean a whole lot !! Otherwise (MHO) I found that making good "card fall" guesses as to when to hit or not to hit suited me best with those "tougher hands". MHO.

  3. Oh, almost forgot. I used too, as I was cozying into the 3rd base seat tell the other players that I don't always play Basic Strategy. Period. Kinda letting them know I ain't going to take any "crap". This way when I later MAKE MY OWN decision NOT to use BS they know not to critisize. And they don't, because they know once after you tell them ….that you are not a dolt. (!) Especially beneficial in Atlantic City, Trust me.

  4. Learn to give your self the best chance to win and take what the cards give you. Not a whole lot different from craps.👍

  5. Typically when I buy in for more than $100 I will get some green and some red because I know shoes can get red hot like it did in the beginning of the first shoe and the last shoe seemed to be never ending wins! Btw double on anything over 12 is not advised because you have that chance at busting. I was at billy’s yesterday later during the day though I made $700 off of a $100 bill!!!

  6. Raie the camera a bit so we can see all the cards at a better angle. Too flat to see dealer's cards especially.

  7. Talk to your boy James, he taught me how to play. HIT AND RUN! Ride that wave and ride it hard then get out!
