Craps betting strategy – “growth” system with high action / low risk!

Craps Tips Video Source:

For craps enthusiasts: here is a system that provides lots of action and a chance to win without a ton of risk. No, it’s not magic. It’s a way to survive and thrive at choppy and medium-to-hot tables. Have fun, and gamble responsibly!

SUMMARY OF THE SYSTEM (short version)

Start at Don’t Pass (1 unit). Follow with Come Bets and then put odds on them. Your goal is to have “2 and half numbers” covered (stop making Come bets after you have 3 come bets on numbers: two with triple-unit odds and the other without). As more money goes to the top, start balancing it out with $20 and (max) $30 odds on your Don’t Pass.

SUMMARY OF THE SYSTEM (detailed Version):

1. 1 unit Don’t Pass ($5) — establish point

2. 1 unit Come bet ($5) — rolls a box number

3. Put 3 units odds ($15) behind the Come Bet that moved // Put 2 units on a new Come bet

Here, the 2-unit Come and DP are helping to balance out your Come bet with odds

-rolls another box number

4. a. 3 units ($15) behind the Come bet that moved. You have 2 numbers covered with odds. // Put 2 units on a New Come bet // Back up your DP with approx. $20 odds

Now the Come and the DP with odds are helping cover your 2 Come bets up top with odds

-rolls yet another box number = end of the system

5. No odds behind the third Come Bet that moved (System maxes out at “2 and half points” covered) // No more new Come bets until other bets are resolved. // Increase your DP odds to 30.

IF one of your Come bet hits, take your winnings and do a new 2-unit Come Bet. Regress DP odds to $20. (You’re back at Step 4).

  1. I believe it you are going to put odds on the do not’s you should make them in multiples of 6 to get back the best odds

  2. Hey, do you have a relative named Alona Auerbach. That might have been in the Army 1987-1990?

  3. at 34:40 I think your come bet should be a win instead of lose and your odds get return to you when you roll a 7 on come out? sorry If I am wrong

  4. Brent Auerbach : just had to tell you , I've watched your beautiful craps strategy video at least 60 or 70 times !!!! Thanks for making it !!!!

  5. Looks like a good system, but you don’t get paid on the don’t pass bar when a seven comes out on the come out roll, please tell me which casino does pay you like that, that’s where I want to gamble lmao

  6. I have a challenge on my channel I think you would enjoy!! There are plenty of live rolling that shoot 36 time That way people that are good at doing strategies can showcase whatever strategy that they would like to use against a shooter check it out if you want dig the video man thank you

  7. I get that you don't like betting the DP against the 6/8. Obviously, the pucker factor here, as it is for me, is risking any amount of odds behind the DP on the 6/8. However, I am comfortable putting a come out there in hopes of a 7 on the first roll after the point, or to hedge against the 7 while building up to a three-point Molly. It's nothing less than losing your DP when the point hits against a 4/5/9/10 on a full layout and then taking all your odds down behind your come bets, leaving you with a three-point Molly. Thus,if the point established a 6 or 8, bet one unit on the come, roll. If 2, 3, 11 or 12 hits, re-do the come bet. If the point or 7 hits, start over with your main system. Repeat betting one unit on the come until you have three come bets without odds and then lay 2x units on DP odds (adjust for even odds as needed, e.g., $5 table: $12; $10 table: $24) and roll. If a come point hits, put another come bet out there. If the point or 7 hits, start over with the main system.

Better yet, place the same bet as the DP on the point and put a DC bet out there to try and get a better Don't number working for you. If the next number is also a 6 or 8 (or any number that seems hot), put a flat place bet on that number to neutralize the don't and put another DC bet. Once you get a number you like versus the 7, then play your main system as usual, except put the odds on the DC (not the DP).

In fact, when I step up to a table that already has a point established and I want to get right into the action, I'll put a DC out there to set my don't number and then I play your system as usual. The only other change I've made to your system is to bet two units on the come odds (instead of three). Makes it slower to grow your winnings (looking to hit a come point at least once before hitting the 7), but also slows down the losses (break even more often if no come point is hit).

I really like your strategy here (with my variations)! It is a very fun, high action, low-risk strategy that affords a guy like me to play for a long time. You might be too humble to call it anything more than a "growth" system, but I'm giving credit where credit is due and affectionately refer to it as "The AC/DC Method," where A is for Auerbach (your original system), C is for Carter (my odds and place bet variations), and DC is Don't Crap <heh>. Thanks for sharing this vid!! 🙂

  8. If a don't pass loses on a 7 or 11 on the come out roll. (What about the use of side bets that pay 4 to 1 on a 7 and a single bet on a Yo 11.

    Example:

Place: $10 on dont pass at beginning.

Place also $4 on a 4 to 1 pay for "any 7" this mitigates and hedges against 7's in beginning.

Place $1.00 on the YO 11 which pays 15 to 1. Hence mitigating risk of an 11.

If you roll your needed 2 or 3 bet you are up 5. After losing the one time side bets.

If you roll one of the side bets, they hedge the loss onn your dont pass.

Finally, if you roll any other number, you only lose 5 dollar side bet (yes commission, casino winning here) but you have the opportunity to recoup the 5 dollar loss through the 2nd phase of the round.

Making sure to place an equal amount on the point as your don't pass and odds.

Thereafter, can play up to 4 regular numbers so long as you can leverage enough on your odds to prevent a loss if the point is rolled.

Hence: you will only need to recoup 5 dollars per shooter round in order to profit slowly.

This is the most conservative strategy I have thought of so far.

Please note I still need to make a trip to casino, having played on app so far.

  9. Color Up rolled this strategy, so I thought I would check it out over here. Thanks for sharing this system. I am looking forward to trying it out!
