Craps Strategy – The Traveling Lay (+ $64 Across)

Be sure to tip the dealers well when you use this strategy. You’ll keep them busy.

In this strategy, I’m playing $64 Across, but I’m using a traveling Lay bet that goes to the last box number rolled. Let’s see how it does.

  1. Not bad bro. I like the thinking, I made a video very similar to this a long time ago. I have played this at the casino some. The dealers hate it, they dont like dealing with your Lay Bet movement.

  2. Nicely presented.

My comment is less bets is more.

Concentrating your wager on a bigger bet like you do with the lay is good. However none of the place bets really earnt their rent, they rarely do…. If you count the number of sevens and multiply by $70 and subtract that one $84 loss you would have been way way ahead compared to covering the place bets and not getting much for the trouble.

My humble suggestion, ditch the the place bets and just use the lay and you may be surprised at the increased profit …

  3. This is an interesting take on a lay hedge strategy. How do the dealers take it when you have them working like that? I imagine if you tip them to some degree or frequently five them a dollar or two to bet along with you they may not give you the hairy eye. The only thing I can think of is to find a bet that stays the same which would be easier on them?
